It helps to have natural talent, of course, but if you're dedicated then it should come quickly to you. You don't have to be taught at a young age to do gymnastics, it's just very difficult to start after about 15. I've been in dance since I was four but I see beginners coming at various ages all the time. 18 is the oldest, so you should probably start soon. As long as you are in good shape, a local studio/teacher should be more than happy to work with you! Just know that since you're older, you may have to work harder. Stay dedicated, it'll pay off!
