While you are learning the dance put your own names to things and repeat the combination in your head. If you have to mouth them in the preliminary learning stages that's fine. Then between takes when you are being taught. PRACTICE! Do the thing you just learned, and add it to the previous. Just remember to keep going keep going keep going!!! I have this exact same problem.
